Long Stemmed Earrings

Discs of recycled sterling silver are filed, domed, and sanded into a nice earthy, organic shape, then oxidized and sanded again to create strong contrast. They are suspended from hand-formed hooks of 20-gauge sterling silver (also eco-friendly) that drop dramatically behind the ear. The top of the disc sits about .5cm below the top of the hook.

Hooks are 5cm (about 2") long and are tumbled and lightly planished for strength. Discs are 1cm (.4") in diameter.
